The article primarily includes the evaluation of the ideas that come to the fore as a result of the current conditions. Then, the current art environment is mentioned in the context of the interaction of contemporary art and technology. The main purpose of the article is to examine the Photo-realism Movement and its originality value in the context of this movement. So, In the last sub-title, Photo-realism, the depiction of the world reality produced by photography, together with the unique nuances that are not obvious, is explained. The article consists of sub-titles "Present time", "Adaptation of Art with Science and Technology", "Reconstruction of Realism with Photo-realism" and "Authenticity in Photo-realism". Scope of work; written and visual sources related to the subject were examined. The moment we live in can be the subject of a sociological, psychological, political or cultural study on its own. Therefore, only the prominent terms and understandings of this comprehensive process are mentioned in the study. In addition, while examining the contemporary realistic approach, which has also existed in art branches such as novel, cinema, and poetry, a limitation has been introduced in the field of contemporary painting.

Makale öncelikle şimdiki zamanda oluşan koşullar neticesinde öne çıkan anlayışların ve pratiklerin değerlendirilmesini içermektedir. Ardından mevcut durumdaki sanat ortamına, çağdaş sanat ve teknoloji etkileşimine değinilmiştir. Makalenin ana amacı günümüzde gerçekçi tavrın öne çıktığı Foto-gerçekçilik Akımı’nı ve bu akım bağlamında özgünlük değerini incelemektir. Dolayısıyla son alt başlıkta, Foto-gerçekçilik’te fotoğrafın ürettiği dünya gerçekliğinin, belirgin olmayan özgün nüanslarla birlikte aktarılması konu edilmiştir. Makale “Şimdiki zaman”, “Sanatın Bilim ve Teknolojiyle Uyumlanması”, “Foto-gerçekçilik’le Gerçekçiliğin Yeniden Kurgulanması” ve “Foto-gerçekçilik’te Özgünlük Durumu” alt başlıklarından oluşmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında, konuyla ilgili yazılı kaynaklar ile görsel kaynaklar taranmıştır. Şimdiki zaman kendi başına sosyolojik, psikolojik, siyasi ya da kültürel bir çalışmanın konusu olacak niteliktedir. Dolayısıyla araştırmada bu kapsamlı sürecin yalnızca öne çıkan terim ve anlayışlarına değinilmiştir. Ayrıca, roman, sinema, şiir gibi sanat dallarında da varlık göstermiş olan çağdaş gerçekçi yaklaşım, çağdaş resim sanatı alanında bir sınırlandırma getirilerek incelenmiştir.
