There is no definite information about when marbling, one of the most valuable of our paper decoration Arts, was first made. Marbling is the process of taking these patterns on paper, which are shaped by paints and various materials on water whose density is increased. The changing needs of people in the temporal process, the amenities provided by technology in artistic and scientific studies different methods and alternatives in the production of marbling art vary in the application of marbling art. This, in turn, laid the groundwork for marbling to be tried on materials, not only as an art of paper decoration, but also as a combination of interpretation with different branches of art and presentation to the taste of art lovers. Besides the courses opened for hobby purposes, ebru, which also manifests itself in decorative products, stands out as a unique art space that offers diversity in artistic studies, academic units and almost every field. In this study, there is general information about the art of marbling, information about the stage of construction and its types and examples, as well as information about the areas of use of marbling for decorative purposes, which is the purpose of the study, and examples from artists who work. Marbling art, one of our forgotten Arts, has gained new breath by combining with decorative products, and has provided the opportunity to introduce marbling art with different uses. This work has been prepared in order to serve as a source for people interested in our art and to examine the art of marbling from a scientific point of view.
