This research was conducted in the museum, which is an out of classroom learning environment. It was carried out in order to examine the sensory reflections and effects of the teaching of "Our National Culture" subject in primary school 4th grade program with activities. The study was conducted with 50 students in the 4th grade of a primary school in Şanlıurfa in the 2018-2019 academic year. The data were collected using the basic qualitative research method, one of the qualitative research methods. The open-ended interview form prepared was applied to the students at the beginning, middle and end of the process and the data were collected. The application process in the study was carried out in the city museum in Şanlıurfa. Typical sampling method was used in the selection of the participant group. Creative drama technique was used during the research. Descriptive analysis was made in the analysis of the data. As a result of this study, it was seen that students better grasp the subject in the program in the out-of-school learning environment, were happier while learning, and could be studied in the city museum in less than the time specified for gaining in the National Education program. As a result of these findings, it was concluded that other subjects of the social studies course could also be taught by using out-of-school learning environments, thus increasing students' interest attitudes and motivations for the lesson.
