Television, which is one of the traditional media tools, is a frequently preferred means of obtaining information, entertainment and spending time in our country. The TV series sector in our country has developed considerably in recent years, and the number of TV series that have achieved very high ratings has increased considerably. The television series, which are followed by a large audience, from young to old, go beyond traditional media and are frequently mentioned in social media, and many series fall into the trend topic (most mentioned) category on social media platforms such as Twitter at the time they are broadcast. The subjects of these serials are generally similar to each other and include love, revenge, custom, intrigue, cheating, family relations, etc. It locks the viewers on the screen through the events. However, in recent years, it is seen that another subject that has started to become "fashion", so to speak, is "religion". Serials with religious content, which were broadcast in prime time and reached serious ratings, are the subject of this study. In this study, concepts such as the representation of religion on television, religiosity and conservatism were examined through discourse analysis and semiotic analysis methods over two TV series broadcast on two different television channels.
