Summary

SOME FACTS FROM THE ARMENIAN PROVOCATION IN GANJA IN 1905-1906

The main content of the article is the early XX th century in Ganja is the massacres against of Azerbaijanian turks committed by Armenians and its causes. Realizing that this terrible act of genocide committed against our people will increase and become even more tragic, our intellectuals created defense organizations. Our people united around these organizations and defended themselves against these ugly acts of Armenian terrorists. Also, our people acted together and taught the Armenian bandits of the Dashnaktsutyun party, a terrorist organization known for its criminal activities, and the pro-Armenian tsarist officials who turned a blind eye to this incident. As a result of these events, our people left their neighborhoods in the city where they live. With the help of the Ganja Muslim Charity Society, Azerbaijani Turks who were expelled from their neighborhoods settled in the areas reserved for them in the city. The article reflects the establishment of armed defense organizations to prevent the genocide, the fact that our people acted together and taught the Armenian bandits a decent lesson, pro-Armenian government officials turned a blind eye to these events and the population left their neighborhoods in their hometowns. The bloody events that took place in Ganja in 1905-1906 after the collapse of the Soviet government have not been sufficiently studied. It is also unfortunate that there is a cold attitude towards the study of the city's history. With this in mind, an objective study of the causes of the topic is the main novelty of the research.
