The subject of this study is to examine the Club series, in which the events of September 6-7, which emerged as a result of the social, economic and political situation in the country in the 1950s, and the developments experienced with the enactment of the Wealth Tax Law, are fictionalized and retelled. In addition, it is aimed to draw attention to the role and power of the media on building social memory, based on the series of Clubs examined in the study. In the study, at the same time, it was determined as a sub-goal to open a new window on confronting a traumatic event in the past and to create a different discussion area on the subject. In line with the determined purposes, the relevant categories were created and the document analysis method was applied to a total of 10 episodes of the series, 6 episodes from the 1st Episode and 4 episodes from the 2nd Episode, which were broadcast on the digital platform Netflix. From the data obtained at the end of the study, it can be stated that the media plays a direct role in the reconstruction process of social memory. In this context, the media mediated the re-talk and even discussion of an event that left its mark on Turkey's recent political and social history, but perhaps on the verge of being forgotten. Thus, with the reality fictionalized through the series, social memory is built not only for those who experienced the event, but also for the next generation who were not alive when the event happened.
