Culture is the sum of material and spiritual values and lifestyles created by societies in the historical process. All communication tools used to create and transfer these values to the next generations are very important as a factor that affects and is influenced by culture. Communication tools, which are sometimes important enough to replace the message, are vital for the analysis of social structure and cultural values. There are many researches on communication tools and culture in the literature. On the other hand, research on music culture, which is one of the important components of popular culture and its effects, is very limited. The main motivation of this study is to investigate the change processes and change parameters of Turkish folk culture in terms of music culture. For this purpose, the musical works with the highest click-through rate, the positions of the works in the world ranking, their genres, the phenomena representing these genres and the most liked-clicked works of these phenomena were analyzed. In the research, purposeful criterion sampling was used to determine the sample, literature review, which is one of the qualitative research methods, and thematic analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. Our findings showed that the most liked-clicked musical works were in the pop-rap genres, these products received at least one hundred million clicks-likes, and the most clicked product ranked 593rd in the world. It is thought that the research will contribute to the literature and related parties in determining the relations between popular culture, music culture and social structure.
