This study aims to examine the emotional codes conveyed by cool and warm tones in the digital color grading process and their impact on visual narration through an interdisciplinary approach. Within the scope of the research, the fundamental principles of digital color grading, color psychology and emotional codes, the functions of cool and warm tones in visual storytelling, the contribution of color tones to narrative construction, as well as digital color management and practical applications were systematically analyzed. The findings reveal that color tones are not merely technical correction tools, but strategic elements that determine the emotional impact and semantic depth of visual narration. It was concluded that integrating the universal psychological effects of colors with their culture-specific meanings is critically important for effective visual storytelling. The study also found that while advancements in technological standards and color management systems significantly contribute to this process, ultimate success depends on balancing technical knowledge with artistic sensitivity.
